XSELLERATOR™ Version 4.4 - Multi-Manufacturer, Multi-Rooftop Capability (OEM/RT)
On July 5, 2006, Quorum announced the release of a major re-architecture providing break-through new information sharing and management capabilities for multi-franchise dealers. The key component of Version 4.4 is the new multi-manufacturer, multi-rooftop capability (OEM/RT).
This functionality gives XSELLERATOR™ the ability to run multiple physical locations and multi-franchise dealerships from one database. Dealers now have the ability to share customer and vehicle data and an unprecedented ability to analyze the dealership group's activities on a real-time basis. With this major new release, XSELLERATOR™ can meet and exceed the needs of multi-franchise dealers, represented by more than one third of all franchised dealers in Canada and more than two thirds of all franchised dealers in the U.S..
Runde Chevrolet Inc., in East Dubuque, Illinois, Beta tested Version 4.4 and the OEM/RT functionality. Greg Runde, Vice President of Runde Chevrolet Inc. said the following:
"When we chose XSELLERATOR™ , we knew we were buying the best DMS available in the market today, even before the introduction of the OEM/RT functionality. The OEM/RT functionality is helping us drive measurable improvements in our operations by allowing us to share inventory across locations, making it easier to find the right vehicle for our prospects, load-balancing our service shops, tracking a single customer across any and all of our locations, centralizing our CRM functions and key accounting activities, and providing consolidated reporting for our operations. It also gives us up-to-the-minute key performance metrics and comparisons across each of our manufacturers and each of our locations."
XSELLERATOR™ Approved as a GM Dealership Showroom and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Solution
On May 1, Quorum announced that XSELLERATOR™ was officially approved by General Motors of Canada Ltd. (GMCL) as a GM Dealership Showroom and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Solution for its dealers. This decision by GMCL confirms that XSELLERATOR™ provides the CRM functionality required by GMCL.
Quorum dealerships no longer need to use GM's CRM technology application, GM inTouch. Quorum was the first DMS provider to obtain this approval from GMCL.
Pat McEachern, President of Automotive Performance Group had this to say:
"GMCL's CRM application called GM inTouch, combined with the APG Retail CRM process and skills training, has proven its value. GM inTouch stores working with APG have realized additional unit sales revenue in the last 12 months based largely on the lead conversion process and skills training APG has implemented in the dealerships. By offering GM dealers the opportunity to use Quorum's integrated CRM process and APG's Retail CRM process and skills training as an official, approved alternative to GMCL inTouch, GMCL is going one step further in providing Quorum dealers with the tools, business processes and training to maximize their XSELLERATOR™ system and to sell more cars."
Retail Inventory Management (RIM) Integration
On April 10, 2006, Quorum announced that it had successfully passed the General Motors Corporation (GM) Retail Inventory Management (RIM) certification process. The RIM system enables GM to respond instantly to consumer demands, based on real-time perspectives on inventory turns, stock levels, purchasing trends and more.
As of October 2006, more than 90% of Quorum's customers are on RIM.
What does the Retail Inventory Management (RIM) feature do?
RIM will collaboratively manage dealer spare parts inventories, and automatically create replenishment orders to the central warehouse system.
How RIM benefits dealerships:
RouteOne Integration
On March 27, 2006, the RouteOne system for credit application management was integrated with XSELLERATOR™. This feature speeds up the credit application and decision process for dealers, reduces data entry errors by eliminating duplicate data entry, and simplifies the automotive finance process.
