GM Integration Roadmap

GM Canada 2010 Integration Projects
(as of February 2010)

Deployed Q1 2009:

  1. Open Leads Interface (OLI) - This project will replace the leads available to dealers via Dealer Connect spreadsheets with a true STAR standard lead interface. The leads will be received from GM and flow into the XSELLERATOR™ customer prospecting area. Outcomes recorded against these leads are reported back to GMCL via a nightly feed.

    Deployed Q3 2009:

  2. Customer Delivery Reporting (CDR) - this interface developed in the US will replace the Canadian version we know of as VDR. This is an effort by GM to consolidate interfaces on a global basis.

    Deployed Q3 2009:

  3. Global Warranty Management (GWM) - This integration point replaces the current WINS warranty claim integration point. GWM is a group of service related transactions that provide the ability to:

    • Submit and reconcile warranty claims.

    • Access vehicle history details, including applicable warranties and potential repeat repair situations.

    • Access open recall campaigns.

GM Canada Current Projects

  1. Migration to GM Exchange - To enable a future decommissioning of the GMAccess servers located in GM Canada dealerships, GMCL is beginning to migrate existing integration points from data exchange facilitated via the GMAccess server to data exchange facilitated over the internet using the GM North American Exchange hub. Quorum is in testing for the following integration points - Repair Order (RO), Vehicle Invoicing (VI), Incentives, Rates, and Residuals (IRR) and General Acknowledgement (GA) processes.

Deployment is targeted for completion by March 31, 2010.

  2. Parts Workbench "LIte" - This would replace the current parts order process with the following web services:

    • Parts Order Input - CSO, DRO, and QPO order entry and acknowledgements.
    • Parts Order Inquiry - provides real-time status of a successfully submitted order.

    • Parts Order Maintenance - allows the parts user to cancel or upgrade backorders.

    • SPAC Inquiry – through the parts order interface within XSELLERATOR™, this project will allow the parts user to inquire about the status of a SPAC case submitted to GM SPO via the DMS.

Deployment is targeted for completion by March 31, 2010.

  3. Parts Workbench "Parts Information" - real time data direct from GM SPO:

    • Ability to view latest part information on-demand in the Quorum DMS application

    • Most accurate GM SPO dealer, list, trade and other part pricing information

    • Ability to retrieve latest part supersession information from GM SPO

Deployment is targeted for completion by March 31, 2010.

  4. Parts Workbench "Parts Availability" - This integration point allows the dealer to check the availability of a part within the GM parts distribution system. In other words it will tell you what nearby PDC has the part in stock.

Deployment is targeted for completion by March 31, 2010.

Completion dates are estimated based on GM project plans. All completion dates are subject to change at any time. Additionally, any project on the list can be cancelled.

GM US 2010 Integration Projects
(As of February 2010)

Deployed Q1 2009:

  1. Sales Workbench "Send Deal" - Vehicle Sale quotes initiated on the Sales Workbench can be sent to the Quorum DMS creating a new vehicle sale record.

  2. Sales Workbench "Vehicle Locate" - Allows the user to make a request for vehicle status from the sales workbench. The web service will advise the user if a vehicle is:

    • “In Quote”
    • “Quote Approved”
    • “Blocked by Sales”
    • “Available”

  3. Parts Workbench "Material Returns and Part Claims" This replaces the RAPID process that was lost when the RAPID system was decommissioned by GM. The new interface consists of the following web services:

    • Parts Claim Entry
    • Parts Claim Inquiry
    • Parts Return Entry
    • Parts Return Inquiry
    • Material Returns Balance

    Deployed Q3 2009

  4. Customer Delivery Reporting (CDR) - This provides the ability to submit a delivery report from the vehicle sales area of XSELLERATOR. The transactions available from the vehicle sales area include:

    • Changes to a Delivery transaction
    • GM Protection Plan Purchase
    • Additional Incentives (this transaction type will be accessible for submission from both the Vehicle Sales area and from the XSELLERATOR drop down menu)
    • Dealer Transfers

The ability to submit other CDR transactions will be provided from a main menu option.
    These other transactions include:

    • In Demo Service
    • Out of Demo Service
    • Return to Stock
    • Cancel Demo
    • Additional Incentives (this transaction type will be accessible for submission from both the Vehicle Sales area and from the XSELLERATOR drop down menu)

  5. Parts Workbench "Parts Invoice" - The Parts Invoice ebXML Interface consists of 4 XML files pushed from GM through GMNA Exchange to the Dealer.

    • Daily Invoice
    • Weekly Invoice
    • Monthly Summary Invoice
    • Monthly Detail Invoice

The data is processed by XSELLERATOR giving the user the ability to view and print the reports.

  6. Parts Workbench "Parts Shipment" - On a scheduled basis, GM sends Advise of Shipment data to the dealer via GMNA Exchange. XSELLERATOR receives and processes the data giving the user the ability to view and print the reports.

    Current Deployment Starting Q4 2009

  7. Global Warranty management (GMW) - This integration point replaces the current WINS warranty claim integration point. GWM is a group of service related transactions that provide the ability to:

    • Submit and reconcile warranty claims.
    • Access vehicle history details, including applicable warranties and potential repeat repair situations.
    • Access open recall campaigns.

    Future Projects

  8. VWB RO Menu - through this interface, a repair order created in XSellerator can be retrieved on the Service Workbench. Using the RO Menu feature within the workbench a list of maintenance services can be created based on the GM’s recommended service intervals and presented to the customer. The details (op code, labor time, and parts information) can then be sent to the DMS to update the RO.

Targeted for deployment in October 2010.

Completion dates are estimated based on GM project plans. All completion dates are subject to change at any time. Additionally, any project on the list can be cancelled.
